لیبل گذاری و تاریخچه آن
استفاده‌ی رسمی از لیبل و بارکد به سال 1930 باز می‌گردد. علت به کارگیری لیبل سرعت بخشیدن به امور مربوط به خرید و فروش بود و تکنیک های مورد استفاده در این باره، هنوز هم در حال پیشرفت است.
